Participant privacy notice

This learning module is administered by the project team at Silliman University / Healthy Lifestyle Module. Google sign-in is required for official participation. Course Review uses sample data only.

Information we collect

We store your Google account’s unique identifier, verified email and profile name to recognize your account. You confirm your own certificate name during registration. We also store your participant category, optional school and section, registration date, activity progress, assessment answers and scores, video completion confirmation, reflection and draft, feedback, and certificate eligibility and issuance information where implemented.

Purpose and access

The project uses these records to deliver the learning module, restore progress across devices, evaluate learning, and document participation. Only the Project Owner and authorized project administrators may view private participant records. Your email, responses, and scores are not published. Signing in does not grant administrator access or share the owner’s Google Drive with you. We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, or Calendar.

Certificate verification

If you request a certificate, anyone who has its certificate ID or verification link can confirm your registered recipient name, module title, completion date, certificate ID, and issuance status. Verification does not show your Google email, scores, reflection, or feedback. PDFs remain protected behind participant or administrator sign-in.

Correction, deletion and retention

Request correction or deletion through the teacher, professor, or project team who provided your course link. Include the Google account email you used; do not send your password. The project team must verify account ownership before disclosing or changing records. Only the Project Owner can permanently delete a participant record. A minimal edit-history entry retains the owner’s identity, participant name, record identifier, and deletion time.

No automatic deletion period or additional institutional retention policy has been configured on this website. The Project Owner must confirm applicable school retention requirements and communicate them to participants. Records are retained until the owner deletes them under the applicable project policy.

Student participants

Students, including minors, should follow their school’s participation instructions and consult their teacher or parent or guardian if they have questions about providing information. Avoid including other people’s personal information in reflections or feedback.

Google and sessions

Google processes sign-in under its own privacy policy. The website uses secure session cookies to remember sign-in; sign out when using a shared device. Signing out ends that browser’s participant session and preserves saved course progress. Historical records created before Google sign-in remain separate and are never automatically linked by matching a name or email.
